sending ctrl+z

Posted by priyadharshini (priyadharshini), 20 June 2008
Hi,

I've to send "ctrl + z" to a remote host through an expect script. I used the following command

exp_send -i $telnet_id($host,$port) -- "^Z"

Its not being accepted by remote hoat. is there any other way?

As written, you are sending ^ followed by Z.

Try "\x1A" - hex code 1A
