exec command

Posted by sharmila (sharmila), 7 November 2005
Hi,
exec command - can it be used for embedded actions?
I have a wireless adapter in my system. Can I make the device running or can I make the status of the wireless device up through exec command?
Thanks in advance,
Sharmila.

exec lets you run shell commands so if you can work out what you would do to get your wireless device running from a shell prompt, then you can do it from your Tcl program too.
