Arrays???

Does TCL/expect have the concept of multi-dimensional arrays? or does it have something else to do this?

Yes, you can in effect have multiple dimensional arrays in Tcl.  Personally, I tend to use a subscript string that includes a delimiter such as a comma or /. You can also use an array of lists to good effect on some occasions.
