TCL Socket with async Posted by SaToNiO (SaToNiO), 7 May 2006 hi, i have a socket with async and i want to know if the socket had been closed remotely. how can i know it? I have edited it to add TCL to topic Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 8 May 2006 I don't know, but I suspect that if you run a gets followed by an fblocked on the channel, you will get:0 return from fblocked if all is OK 1 return if the channel is open but there's not enough data available an error if the channel is closed. You can catch the error to prevent your program crashing - the catch action being whatever you need to do when the channel has been remotely closed.
