TCL Expect for Windows 95/ Windows 98

Posted by srivats123 (srivats123), 22 April 2004
Dear All,

Is there a TCL Expect 5.2 interpreter available for Windows 95/98. I downloaded one from the activestate web-site, it works only on NT machines.Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks.

Regards
Srivatsan.

Expect has always been uncomfortable with Windows because of the non-multiprocess origins of Windows.  I have seen that ActiveState have recently introduced Expect for Windows (previously it was only on their Unix / Linux Tcls) but I would be suprised if it (or any other Expects) works reliably with the older Windows OS-es.
