TCL Expect for Windows 95/ Windows 98 Posted by srivats123 (srivats123), 22 April 2004 Dear All,Is there a TCL Expect 5.2 interpreter available for Windows 95/98. I downloaded one from the activestate web-site, it works only on NT machines.Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks. Regards Srivatsan. Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 22 April 2004 Expect has always been uncomfortable with Windows because of the non-multiprocess origins of Windows. I have seen that ActiveState have recently introduced Expect for Windows (previously it was only on their Unix / Linux Tcls) but I would be suprised if it (or any other Expects) works reliably with the older Windows OS-es.This page is a thread posted to the opentalk forum
