Returning values from Expect scripts

Posted by shafa.fahad (shafa.fahad), 22 August 2006
Hi,

I am trying to write an Expect script which will call another Expect script from inside which will return some value ( say, list of process running in the remote machine ) to a variable in the parent script....

Please help me out in syntax for this...

i was trying like...
set val expect script2 < considering that this line is inside script1 >

Either use an environment variable, or use puts within the inner script.
