Our plans were to retire in summer 2020 and see the world, but Coronavirus has lead us into a lot of lockdown programming in Python 3 and PHP 7.
We can now offer tailored online training - small groups, real tutors - works really well for groups of 4 to 14 delegates. Anywhere in the world; course language English.

Please ask about private 'maintenance' training for Python 2, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, etc.
How to communicate with the device using Serial po

Hi,

I am beginner in TCL scripts. i learning tcl running in EXPECT.


I want to excecute some command by logging into the device using TCL
scripts.
The device may be a EXTREME SWICTH. The device is connected to my PC
via the serial port. So using the scripts i should be able to log in to
the device and execute the commands.


Can any one please help me on this.

The example here may help you get started.  Once you get going, please post any follow ups you need relating to specific issues.   Short sample pieces of code are a great help to us to offer you tailored advise.
