Perl code can be embedded in Tcl?

if possible, how?
thanks.

Why?

on unix/linux platform, Perl is used as a popular script language to perform everyday task.
Also in some other environments, such as testing communication devices, we use Tcl to complete many automatic testing tasks.
So I want to know if Perl and Tcl can invoke each other or not. I'm just curious.

They can invoke each other via "shell" or 'exec" type commands - in other words, you can run a Tcl program from within a Perl one and  vice versa, just as you can cross-run any language.   However, I don't think they embed in one another in quite the way that you can embed Python in Java to get Jython.
