how to compare word for word Posted by greigster (greigster), 1 September 2004 I'm thing to find out how to compare word-for-word..I've been usring this : @Standard = ('Multidata','SybaseData','Data'); .. if ($line=~ m/$standard/i) 'data' is recognized in both Multidata and sybasedata..
