Need some help with CGI script to automate ssh

Posted by salmanr (salmanr), 20 June 2004
I need a script which connects to an IP, then enters username and password. then changes to a specific dir. and executes an .exec-file. Can anyone help me get startet or even better write this for me?

There's a sample script at http://www.wellho.net/resources/ex.php4?item=p616/telnetdemo that uses telnet to connect in through Perl, run some commands, capture the results and use them back on the computer you're running from. That's probably a good starter for you if you have telnet access.

If you have to use SSH, look at the CPAN - http://search.cpan.org/~ivan/Net-SSH-0.08/SSH.pm or http://search.cpan.org/~drolsky/Net-SSH-Perl-1.25/lib/Net/SSH/Perl.pm for two different solutions
