.inc files Posted by Chris_Isaac (Chris Isaac), 18 August 2008 I'm currently revamping one of my sites, and I have a .inc file at the top of the page, the path to which is: include("c:\Program Files\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\Websites\newaccomfinder\data\standard.inc"); where you see newaccomfinder, this was originally seperated by spaces, and all is working well, since I have removed the spaces (and updated all links) it doesn't include the file, if I put the standard.inc file a few directories above, say under \websites it works fine. I've no idea where I've gone wrong, is there anything obvious I've missed? Posted by Chris_Isaac (Chris Isaac), 18 August 2008 Ok, I hate it when I do this, I've now sorted the problem by changing all the '\' to '/' but I still do not know why it was working before and stopped, any ideas?Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 19 August 2008 on 08/18/08 at 22:25:54, Chris Isaac wrote:
A change from single to double quotes? In double quotes, \ characters need doubling up - "I really want a \" ? Posted by Chris_Isaac (Chris Isaac), 19 August 2008 Of course, can see it now, I was in effect putting a \n new line character in.Thanks again. This page is a thread posted to the opentalk forum
