For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))

Hi Graham

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoy reading your blog.

Was wondering if it was possible to change something though, the normal text is fine, but when you include code, I can't make it out very well, could you perhaps bold it?

Thanks

Chris

I've added something to the style sheet so it should look better now.   Please use shift-reload on your browser if you don't see the change straight away; this will cause the style sheet to be reloaded whereas otherwise you browser may assume it's not changed.

For readers who aren't familiar with my blogs, they're The Horse's Mouth which is the subject of Chris's request, and Save the train which is the campaign here in Melksham where we live to save the TransWilts train service (Swindon - Melksham - Trowbridge - Warminster - Salisbury).

Sorry Graham, still not very ledgable.

I'm using IE6, have forced reload.  Could it be my monitor?

I tested on IE6 ... been caught by differences before.

Is the problem on the mouth or on the archive pages?   If there's a calendar on the right hans side, that's the one I've changed.   If it's our navigation menu on the RHS then I have NOT altered it but if you select "change font" you should be able to toggle between 4 font sizes.

I go in off your main site, it does have a calander in the top right, but the font has not changed.

I have gont into 'my wellho' on the main site and changed the font size, but this only works for the main site.  As soon as I use the menus . ie Share and Contribute>Horses Mouth Blog the font size stays small.
