For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
Merry Christmas - 25 Dec 03, SN

The board seems to have gone quiet over the last few days as everyone gets ready for Christmas rather than Perling and PHPing away.

I'll be on line most days to answer anyone else who's as sad as me    and for everyone - have a great festive season

Hi

Sorry its a bit late, but Merry Xmas to you as well.  Hope you had a good one.

Yes, unfortunately, I've not had much time to do any PHP for a little while.  Baby born last October, as well as 2.5 year old have been keeping me busy, nevermind Xmas.

New Years Resolution, put lock on office door, should keep them out, oh, and buy ear plugs...

Hope you have an excellent New Year, and Thank You for all your help over 2003.

Thanks

Chris

Thanks, Chris, and congratulations on the new arrival.  Sounds like he/she (which?) has a healthy pair of lungs!

Greetings from Bishop, California;  Lisa and I have been at the Mammoth Lakes ski resort for the last week http://www.mammothmountain.com where the grumbles are usually about too much snow rather than too little    As you can see, we're able to be in touch from hotel rooms, and we're now in a position that the office is manned even if we're away.

Onwards to an exciting 2004!

Sorry, forgot to add, it was a boy, Joshua.  9lbs2.5oz.

and yes, he has a healthy set of lungs!  fortunately he doesn't excercise them that much yet, but when he does you really know about it.

Hope You and Lisa are having an excellent well deserved break.

Happy New Year.

Chris
