One of the top news items this lunchtime is the sentencing of David Heiss to life imprisonment for the murder of Matthew Pyke - a web forum administrator.  Full BBC report at:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8040178.stm

and an earlier report from the Nottingam paper at:

http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/news/Murder-suspect-met-alleged-victim-web-forum/article-952425-detail/article.html

The BBC story has a "web warning" section towards the end, cautioning everyone against revealing too much personal information about themselves on line; it's a warning often heard, but I felt it worth re-iterating it here. "Think before you post personal data".
