For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))

Hi

Just a quicky to say I like the new site, very user friendly.

The navigation menus on the right, were these done in javascript?

Cheers

Chris

Thanks, Chris ... we've had a lot of fun doing a lot of work (and we're still working on some of the remoter areas!)

The menus are style sheets   ... and they're generated by PHP to get the right wide/narrow, colour and fonts, and to work well with a variety of browsers.

Can you come to GEEKMAS at the end of this month (see "what's new) where I'll be talking a lot more about it.  Also want to pick you brain on som ethings about your line of work!

I'd love to come, but once a year, a few old friends and myself get together for a Xmas drink, and this falls the day before, I don't think you (or anyone else) wants to see me after a 12 hour drinking session

It is in Bristol this year though, If I do the sensible think and don't drink to much, would you mind if I  just popped in?

Any questions re my line of work please ask away, either by email or forum (unless its too personal  )

You're very welcome to drop in ... in fact I'll be doing an email around over the next couple of days that includes just that.
