New Moderator

Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 9 July 2003
An additional moderator, jfp, has been appointed to assist in moderating all the boards- welcome to the role, jfp.

The moderator's role is primarily a watching brief - if the moderator sees postings which are against the conditions you agreed to when you joined up (e.g. if you post copyright material, or if you start flaming one another), he'll have to do something.  If he sees a topic in the wrong category, he can move it ... he can pin topics to the top of the topic list too if there's something that really shouldn't get lost in the mass of posts.

Although I've appointed an additional moderator ( I always felt slightly uncomfortable being the only one ), I would like to thank everyone here for making the role - thus far - a very easy one.
