For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
Geekmas 2006

Posted by Custard (Custard), 26 November 2006
We'd just like to say a big 'Thank You' to Graham and Lisa for another excellent Geekmas weekend.  We were very impressed by the high standard of accommodation at the new Well House Manor training centre.

And we were also very fortunate to be in the very good company of Ted, Mrs Ted, Paddy, Dan, Dave, Roy and on the Saturday evening, Jenny.
It was good to see you all.  We will have to try and keep an eye on the Open talk during the year and organise another meet sometime around June  (Suggestions for names on a postcard).

Looking forward to next Geekmas.

We enjoyed having everyone over to the new place ... talk ranged all the way from PHP to Python (oops - at least alphabetically those two are quite similar) through to politics and transport, early days of HTML and writing a good campaiging web site.   A great social evening too - was really great to see you.

And a mark that everyone was enjoying themselves ... did you notice how, after a long day and after the meal at the Refa, everyone hung until really REALLY late in the lounge and library ... didn't want the day to end.
