For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
T-Shirts in the latest newsletter

I'll swear hands down that I caught you wearing a Perl Camel t-shirt last year! Is the camel exempt on artistic grounds, and the use strict?

Anyway, thanks for another cracking newsletter.

Graham grins ....

You will have seen me wearing a T Shirt that says "Perl - the Open Source Advantage" which has a silhouette of a camel on it, but not one of "those" T shirts that has a camel composed of obfurscated code.

Dear other readers, if you wonder what this thread is about, it's all explained in our latest newsletter which you can download from http://www.wellho.net/downloads/whcSpring2004.pdf ....

Ok then. I still like my camel t-shirt though, but I'm not about to type it in!

Btw. I liked the Perl Objects section. A handy reminder of the multitude of ways you can reference variables and classes in perl.

Took me a few minutes to work out what the AUTOLOAD was doing though. Guess I will have to read up on that as it looks quite useful.
