| For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training. We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk. Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active! Graham, this is a bunch better. Like it's a ton faster and I'm not off to get a cup of coffee while the page loads - will I die of thirst now? 
Though the smilies (from buttons) and preview still don't work.Geekmas? Shall I start new thread?

Much more to come, Ted ... the software has fallen hugely behind here (on the "if it ain't bust, don't fix it" principle) but we do plan to switch it through to SMF - which took over from YaBB - in the not too distant future. There are a couple of out own "mods" applied to the YaBB, though, which make it not as easy to do as it should be, and indeed I may "archive" the old board so that it still provides a resource, but set up the new one afresh.This page is a thread posted to the opentalk forum
