This week, we're updating our course layouts and descriptions. Presentation and materials always gently change over time, but just occasionally there's a need to make a step change to clear out some of the old and roll in the new. That's now happening - but over a long and complex site it's not instant and you'll see sections of the site changing up to and including 19th September.

Printed Reference manual

If you're like me, and prefer to have a paper copy of the manuals,as well as an online version, you might like to ko=now that O'Reilly have published the "MySQL Reference Manual", covering MySQL 3.23 and 4.  Published June 2002, ISBN 0-596-00265-3

On a related note:

If you're looking at MySQL books I can highly recommend "MySQL" by Paul DuBois, published by "New Riders".

Its a fine and detailed tutorial, far better than O'Reillys "MySQL & mSQL", in fact this is the only time I've recommended another book over an O'reilly effort.

I must look at the new one mentioned by Graham though, I think its by the creator of MySQL.
Amazon must love me.....
