Ainsdale - first memories

Please excuse a personal picture to start with. This little bungallow in Ainsdale is home to my first memories - this is where I lived to the age of 4, when my parents moved to North West Kent. And I've taken the view from the footpath that lead to the sandhills ... a walk over the dunes of about a mile down to the beach


On the Sandhills

Southport is on the Lancashire coast between Liverpool and Preston. It's a flat area of market gardens and prosperous commuter housing for Liverpool.
