Poulshot is a village between Melksham and Devizes - nearer to Devizes, but part of the Melksham area as far as Wiltshire administration is concerned.

The village is set around a very large green, and is the home of "The Raven" pub, which I used from time to time many years ago. Judging by a lady that I gave a lift to from there the other day, they still do a good line in beverages.
