For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))

The Kennet and Avon Canal runs a couple of miles to the south of Melksham where Well House Consultants is located and the national Cycling path runs along the old track where horses used to tow boats.

If you're on one of our courses, there's also plenty of Walking in the area and you can see placed like Devizes and Bradford on the canal

The K and A (as we know it) was fortified as the last line of defense for the Midlands and North of England during the second world war and it's guarded by numerous fortified positions known as pillboxes. To this day, you'll find pillboxes hidden in the undergrowth at quite frequent intervals

After falling into disrepair in the 1950s, the K and A was restored in the 1990s. Although it took a few years thereafter to correct water supply problems, today it's a reliable and popular holiday with lots of colorful boats to be seen

To the east, the canal continues through the Vale of Pewsey, past Honey Street to Wootton Rivers, Savernake and Crofton.

The Wilts and Berks Canal used to run from the Kennet and Avon at Semingon via Melksham, Swindon and Wantage to the Thames at Abindgon.
