Reading & analyzing of large files

How read and analyze large files (>2GB) on C/C++

Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 13 July 2006
Loop through the file a line or block at a time, and don't try to read it all into an array!.

This example is being tested with an input file of 3.8Gbytes.

Thanks for a help.

I'm tring read file ~1GB wich was made by 'copy file+file+file+...'. But infile.eof() works wrong because copy puts ^Z on file's 'joint'.

I don't know how read files wich was made in this case.
