Question for Graham Posted by PaulStat (PaulStat), 16 May 2006 Hi Graham,I was on one of your Python courses a little while ago, which I found to be of a really high standard btw. I've been out of university for nearly two years now, and my job is based around using a C type language for document composition (not a very commercialised programming language at all). I feel however that it is time I tried to move on with my career. I am really interested in the consultancy/training side of programming that you speciailise in. I realise however that I need to improve my skill sets and experience before I can start contemplating such a role. Do you have any recommendations or tips on where I should perhaps take my career next to enable me to do this. Also i'm more than willing to learn in my spare time, so which languages/technologies would you recommend focusing on? Thanks for your help. Paul Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 22 May 2006 Paul .... sorry I've taken a little while to get back with you on this ... been very busy over the past few days travelling to the Middle East and getting a course set up (now running) here. I'll cut and paste your original and come back with something overnight.Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 23 May 2006 Paul,I've written a (very) full answer ... rather beyond the size of a forum post and of more general interst too, so I've put it into my blog.
