Exception while running jython script

Posted by patni (patni), 18 May 2005
I have one jython script which is recorded through
Testmaker on unix box

But now I am tring to run the same script on unix box

Its gives me error
Encountered an error: Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL:

I have added only following code after recording

import sys
location = sys.argv[1]

#I have used replace function to accept ipaddress.
self.http.setUrl( ''''''.replace('', location))

#A Small chunk of code that will get the Source of the HTML page Displayed and Write it to a file
source1 = self.response.getContent()
f = open( 'temp.txt', 'w' )

If I run the same script on unix box
where are recorded it runs sucessfully.

I think you've got one machine set up correctly as a server and the other one isn't.   Suggestion - check the settings on the non-working system to make sure they correspond to the working system.  It's probably as small a thing as a file permission setting that's not letting you Java read a file on one machine.
