"Programming in C" is an intensive 2 days course, during which
our tutor takes you from the fundamentals of the C language through techniques
and principles such as pointers, structures, unions and dynamic memory
allocation. With these skills learned, you'll be well equipped to read, write
and maintain C code and to progress to learning C++ which adds to the
principles and syntax of C.
Prior programming experience in another programming language
such as Perl, Java or VB. If you're interested in learning C but you're
new to programming, please book for Learning to Program in C
Getting the most from your Well House Consultants course
The C language is the bedrock of modern computing - it underlies your
operating system, and it's the language in which other languages are written.
However, only a small proportion of programmers actually need to develop and
maintain code in C these days, as for the majority of applications the higher
level languages that are themselves written in C are going to be more efficient.
