A former port on the Forth, Bo'ness is now a residential town with many of its inhabitants working in Falkirk (with the Grangemouth oil refinery), Linlithgow or Edinburgh.

Bo'ness is well worth a visit to see the preserved railway and old docks; there's a motor museum and much else too.
