For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
Privacy Policy and Copyright Statement
What we do with data you enter onto this web site, and other legal issues.
Personal and company information entered onto forms on this web site, and sent to us in email, or provided to us in any other way will be used only by Well House Consultants and will not be disclosed to third parties (unless we are required to do so for legal reasons - for example as part of a police investigation, or because we have reason to believe that we have been asked to make a suspicious credit card transaction). This means that you will not receive mailings from other companies as a result of being on our mailing list. Your course reviews are between yourself and Well House Consultants only.

We accept credit card payment for courses by phone, fax, or in person. We also have a secure data page through which you can give us credit card and other sensitive information. For your own security, we request that you do NOT send us credit card details by email.

We make some use of cookies on our site. Short term cookies are used within our booking system so that information that you enter is remembered from page to page, and across our site to remember your history. That allows us to offer you up to 10 "back" links at the foot of each page. If you change your country away from the default for your IP address, or change the font or the colour scheme that you're using, we'll set a longer term cookie. This lets us provide you with the same look and feel when you return to our site weeks later. Within the longer term cookie we also store other information such as any open source topics you've expressed a particular intrest in, and any open source topics you've chosen to "contract" to view just headlines on the index pages. Again, this lets us tailor the site for you when you return.

We check our web access logs to ensure the continuing integrity of our web sites, and we use the limited marketing information that the logs provide within our company.

We do accept on line credit cards payments for purchases of courses, mouse mats and pens, but only though our secure server. We do not retain your credit card details in a database once payment has been taken (and in the case of a course booking, it means we may have the details on file for several months). That applies to online orders and also if you phone or fax your details in. You'll be asked for new details each time you pay by credit card.

We provide you with a certificate of completion at the end of each course; please note that this is not a certificate that you've achieved any particular standard in the subject being taught. We do not provide employers with an evaluation of any individual student on our courses, unless the request has been made prior to the course and the student(s) concerned are aware of and have agreed to the request.

We are registered with the Data Protection Commissioner under the Data Protection Act, 1998.

A word of explanation

This means that if you like one of our pictures or descriptions, you may NOT simply take a copy of it and place it on your web site, nor may you add anything to your web page which brings up one of our pictures within your page, and makes it look like your own work. To take our material in such a way without asking us is theft.

However we do like our pictures to be widely seen and we encourage you to ask if you can use them - we'll usually say "yes" provided that you provide a credit / link. See www.wellho.info if you would like more details.
