For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
Making use of huge data, object orientation, unit testing and frameworks

We have good availability on upcoming courses this summer - after a hectic spring, things are slightly quieter on the training side. So it's a very good time for you to come along and be part of a small group - learning a new language, or perhaps coming on a more advanced course such and getting into Huge Data or Object Orientation or Unit Testing or Frameworks in a bigger way.

There's much more to providing an IT system to do a job than just writing code ... these extra subjects are key to robust, reliable, easy to use and maintain code with re-usable modularity for the future. They're techniques that we're used to applying ourselves, and applying in relationship to each individual programming language that we teach too - so please ask me for details. If we offer a regular course, great; if you're an existing customer, you can ask for an "extra" day - that'll give you one on one tuition covering the elements you're looking for at just the cost of a one day course. Currently that's £350.00 + VAT.
