Lisa was commenting to me this morning how she gets most of her breaking news these days from a twitter feed
The last few days have been so busy I've not had time to write a full blog each day, even though I have so much to say
People in Melksham have complained that shops have been selling them First Class stamps at 50p each, when they should be 46p. The Post Office has told them to write in with their complaints What a great way for the Post Office to make another 50p 46p
On Monday, I helped Chris, Delene, and Aeryn move from Melksham to Amesbury (I'm glad that I'm still fit enough to do that and not end up with aches and pains).
We were helped on Monday by Kooky the Clown. Turns our that clowns are very good at loading Transit Vans. THANK YOU, Kooky (good clown too!)
When I ask people to hug and have their picture taken they're surprised. When I tell them why, they're delighted to do it.
Did a piece "to camera" today for Sky TV who are doing a canal series. It's very easy to describe the benefit the Wilts and Berks will bring to Melksham, because there's SO MUCH benefit
Full hotel tonight ... good to see, and good to see more and more repeat customers. We must be doing something right ;-)
Saw Santa today ... first time this season. He tells me he's got a really busy time coming up, but assures me he's all set for the "Santa Special" train
Regular Expression course tomorrow
Picking up Lisa in a few minutes and popping out for a steak. Too busy to cookat home. Best go. 'night all! (written 2011-11-10)
