For 2023 - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.
Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!
I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
Melksham House - a community facility
Remember ... that Melksham House is now yours. It's open for lunch every day ... and much more too - there's something going on virtually every evening. Do drop in ...
Actually, Melksham House has been very active as a community resources for many years as it's move away from being a strictly "Avon Tyres Only" place, but there are still many people who don't realise this. It's good value all day parking for the town centre too ...
Yes - there will be huge changes in years to come - the whole intent is to provide a new community campus in place of assortment of other facilities - but the project has to go through a whole series of strategy, design and planning stages during which the existing facilities remain very much open and vibrant. The purpose of the new campus is to provide a community hub / service ... and Melksham House is already a community / hub service when you think of it ;-) (written 2011-10-31, updated 2011-11-01)
