For 2021 - online Python 3 training - see ((here)).

Our plans were to retire in summer 2020 and see the world, but Coronavirus has lead us into a lot of lockdown programming in Python 3 and PHP 7.
We can now offer tailored online training - small groups, real tutors - works really well for groups of 4 to 14 delegates. Anywhere in the world; course language English.

Please ask about private 'maintenance' training for Python 2, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, etc.
Starting to arrange the picture library

"Yes - but what do you DO with all those old pictures" ... in the past, so many photographs were put away in the bottom draw never to be seen again; these days, they're not even printed - just a quick look and perhaps not much more.

And yet, over the years, some of us gather such a magnificent set of pictures that may be worth sharing - or at the least may be worth providing as a resource in case others are interested in using them.

Record shots, such as this one may have limited interest in 2010 ... but come 2026, this might be something we wish to show our grandchildren (there's a degree of forward looking there, and no certainty at all that we'll have any grand children, and is we do that they would be remotely interested!)

Some of the pictures are already of historic value, as things have changed even in the short time since they were taken

And with others, I look back and think "Goodness - I had forgotten the day we went to ...

I'm in the process of setting up a database into which images can be 'dumped' ... and I hope later retrived, found, accessed. Like so many such good ideas, I sewed a see with some database scripts three or four years ago to enable us to grow from a directory of images into a database ... and now it's sensible to review that and allow for another order of magnitude increase.

Each of the images accompanying this article is very different to each other image. Some are beautiful, others are ugly. A few image files are ones that I've put up as favours for people, or are screen captures that I can't republish due to copyright and they need to be weeded out.

Some are our own publicity shots - such as this one

Others are our instruction manuals, or pages from them

Some need explaining - just to the left of this, a wedding cake is being cut!

I don't think that any of these pictures has previously appeared here .. though some of them addition shots from stories that I have told you. I'm doing a lot of behind the scenes processing with PHP and you'll find that I'll be publishing a few simple "show you how" scripts once I'm 100% sure that there are no major problems with them. In the mean time, have a look at / enjoy the mixed bunch above. I have NOT added a "see this larger" link to any of them, but if you load the images separately, you'll find that many of them are larger
