
A picture I took earlier - Gypsy leaping through high grass in the field that also includes the
Devizes White Horse. It got me thinking that I have seen other pictures of leaping animals, and also how
small the picture subject can become yet still
remain the picture subject.

Here is "The Leaping Horse" by John Constable - from a different age, yet once again the actual subject of the picture is small and the landscape around is all. I took a careful look at this image - "copyright" I wondered before I posted it here. I have checked and found that where an artist has been deceased for more than 50 years, it is generally acceptable to reproduce his work verbatim in this way; some interesting links
