Comparison - cellpadding versus cellspacing
What's the difference between cellpadding and cellspacing in a table cell? Cellpadding adds space all around a table cell - so if you set cellpadding to 2 pixels, you're adding 4 pixels between the data in neighboring cells. But cellspacing controls the space between the cells, so specifying 2 will add just two pixels between the cells. You'll also find that if you have your background colour for a cell set to a different colour to the background, it will effect your cellpadding but NOT your cellspacing. Perhaps an example would help? Cellpadding = 2 and Cellspacing = 0
