Helsinki - what comes naturally  Even when it's sweltering in England, it's quite cold in Helsinki and everyone was heavily clothed - I suspect that there was a hot water bottle (and perhaps an iPod too) under that hat. So perhaps it's as an educational aid to the locals that statues such as this may be found in the local park (or perhaps it's the Nordic way - see Viglandsparkin, Oslo). The reindeer may look on and wonder about this strange new world ... ... but I am glad to see that the Finns have taken the education further ...
