Late last week, we installed ceiling fans in four out of the five bedrooms at
Well House Manor, and in
the museum too. A little bit of air circulation can do wonders on a hot summers day, and can equally drive the hot air that's risen on a cold winter's day down to the bottom of the room. They are silent, sleek, modern units ... and the built in light's are actually brighter than the lights they've replaced.
In any hotel, there has to be a cycle of repaint, refurbish and upgrade. Otherwise the place goes stale. And at Well House Manor, only one bedroom now remains to be repainted in the current cycle - not that our regular guests realise that it needs to be done; we want to catch it long before that!
We're nearly full this week, and full again over the weekend, but come the autumn we've got good availability on most days. And if you're visiting relatives in Melksham over the Christmas and New Year period, we're offering a special rate of just £72.00 per night for stays of 5 nights or more that include Christmas or the New Year. No big events at Well House Manor over Christmas - just our trademark quiet hotel hospitality. Phone us on 01225 708225 to book, or book direct via our secure website
