Quiet Monday in

Grandad and GrandaughterYesterday, Abby, Tyler, Zyliana, Lisa and myself went downtown, then headed off on a world tour (Florisa style in the searing heat of near-record temperatures. Today, the oldest and youngest of the party remain in the room, while the middle three are heading off to the movies - to have breakfast at "The Three Broomsticks". And I'm honoured / touched to be left in charge, even though I know that I'll be struggling a bit looking after a young person I'm only just getting to know. I was going to post lots of pictures of yesterday (and may still do so) but the future generation is - well - our future, and the important one. She sleeps beside me on the couch as I write; I'll be gone (and only posting later) if that's the way it works out.
