For 2023 - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))

A post on the "Four in a Bed" Facebook fan club page says that the reader loves the show - but says there are too many repeats for her liking. On TV again last night - a repeat of our "Four in a Bed" week that first aired just over a year ago. 4232Not wanted here - hotel guests who will not be happy
Yes, I want you to stay at Well House Manor - but only if you'll enjoy it; I really don't want to sell rooms to people who won't overall be happy with what they have bought - not only would we end up with a disappointed customer, but we also risk bad reviews. We risk damage being done ("room was trashed") ...
4204With the Shpigs and Donkeys
At Happy Donkey Hill... a rare weekend away. Contestants from our "Four in a Bed" experience all met at The Daffodil last night   And this morning we went around to see the other animals - more than just donkeys         Off for Sunday lunch in a few minutes ...

4147A hidden hotel gem in Melksham
"We didn't know you were here" ... how frequently we hear that comment when residents of Melksham pop in to Well House Manor. It shouldn't really be too much of a worry to us, as our business is primarily in niche IT training and < href=>business and leisure hotel accommodation, ...

4112Really good friends - four in a bed!
We've made some really good friends through "Four in a Bed" - not only has it introduced us to a few new guests, but it's also been an ice-breaker in Melksham as people feel they know us a bit better now. And we get on so well with many of the other "contribs" - contributors, or hotel / B&B owners. A ...
3924The bedrooms at Well House Manor
Last Sunday was... a Sunny day. And looking at the diary for Well House Manor, I noted that it was the last day until almost Christmas when all of our rooms were vacant during the day. Melksham's new blue plaque trail looks forward to its first full year in 2013! 3975Being an amateur hotel inspector helps me run a professional hotel
In September of last year, Lisa and I slept in 9 different beds in 2 weeks - in 8 different hotels and other accommodations (we visited one twice, and had different rooms). Prices, facilities and quality varied greatly - four were highly enough regarded by their owners to be put up for the "Four in ...

3972Four in a Bed - comment on results
If your hotel / guest house is selected to appear on "Four in a Bed", you're already a winner. And if you enjoy the experience, and come across well on the show too, you're a double winner. Who pays whom how much after each visit, and the basis on which the decision of "worth" is made, is interesting ...
3971The Experience
Written to a friend / industry contact about Four in a Bed, when we knew our transmission dates We've had a fantastic experience "thus far".
