For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
Japanese and Malaysian food in Melksham

I'm delighted that "The Unicorn" in Melksham has re-opened as a Japanese and Malaysian restaurant and Takeaway, lunchtime and evenings, 7 days a week. Lisa and I tried a Malaysian takeaway last week, and we ate in for lunch yesterday with Dad - Japanese starter illustrated. Very tasty - we'll be going there again, ad wish the business all the very best.

For guests at Well House Manor, the Unicorn is at the far end of town, just across the bridge over the river Avon (59 Bath Road, 01225 707000). The restaurant / takeaway has plenty of its own off street parking, and it's easy to pick up from there by car or on foot (about 12 minutes walk each way).

Unlike at hotels that offer evening meals, guests at Well House Manor are very welcome indeed to bring in their own food, or to collect or have delivered takeaway meals. We do ask that you use our knives, forks, plates rather than try to eat out of the takeaway packaging - not only is that far more civilised, but it also helps us avoid drips and spills ;-). And please eat in our "Whitworth" breakfast room if you like. No corkage / plate charge - when you're staying at Well House Manor, the place is your home and you don't pay to use your plates or bottle opener at home, do you?
