A further chance to see Melksham on TV
There's a further chance to see Melksham and Well House Manor on TV on Sunday, 1st September when "More 4" repeats (as an omnibus edition) the "Four in a Bed" week that takes Lisa and Graham to Crieff in Scotland, to Blackpool, and to Worcestershire to sample and review accommodation there - and brings the owners of those establishments to Melksham to learn about the town, and review Well House Manor.
With four very different styles of accommodation pitted against each other, there are credits and criticisms all through the week, and fireworks on payment day when everyone meets up to discuss reviews, and when payment envelopes are opened and a winner - the accommodation with the highest percentage of normal price paid - is revealed.
The show starts at 14:40 with a visit to Scotland. The visit to Melksham starts at 15:50, and the concluding payment day starts at 16:50. "More 4" is available on Channel 14 - Freeview, Channel 236 - Sky (also a +1 anc HD channels), and Channel 147 - Virgin Media. It was originally aired in January.
The following pictures are of the other hotels we staying in, and not Well House Manor. See [here] for independent views of Well House Manor and [here] for our own hotel's web site.
Melksham: (where we hosted - sorry - no "Lisa in Room" picture!)
If you stay at Well House Manor, you're assured of the same warm welcome, facilities and service you saw on the show. If you ask us about the show, we'll happily talk about it - but we appreciate that we're 20 minutes into our 15 minutes of fame, and we'll wait to be asked. We've much more to tell you about the wonderful places to see nearby such as Bath, Lacock, Longleat ... and our own historic centre, pack horse bridge, the canal, the lovely walks ...
