For 2021 - online Python 3 training - see ((here)).
Our plans were to retire in summer 2020 and see the world, but Coronavirus has lead us into a lot of lockdown programming in Python 3 and PHP 7.
We can now offer tailored online training - small groups, real tutors - works really well for groups of 4 to 14 delegates. Anywhere in the world; course language English.
Please ask about private 'maintenance' training for Python 2, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, etc.
What is on OUR pond?
Over the weekend, the first member of the Well House Team to arrive at Well House Manor
was delighted to see a pair of mallards on our pond / fountain. Several of us did our best to take pictures, but some of us (i.e. myself) got shakey and blurred pictures. Rachel, who's picture I've posted here with here permission, did much MUCH better. There's a further picture [here]
I love the early mornings - there was a crisp frost this morning, cold but bright. One of our team - Rachel, Sarah or Poppy - or me if I'm standing in as holiday cover - arrive at Well House Manor at around a quarter past 6 (during the week) or at about a quarter past seven at the weekend. And for the first hour or two it's "All go". In fact during the week, everyone may have finished their breakfast and left for their meetings, or be working on yesterday's course examples, by 8 O'Clock.
It's usually much more leisurely at the weekend - yes, we can provide early breakfast for those people who have a day's work to do (for example, exhibitors at the TrainWest exhibition
next month), but we're also happy for people to lie in, relax and eat a little later - formally breakfast is available until 10 a.m., but we don't mind if it overruns. (written 2013-03-05)
