For 2021 - online Python 3 training - see ((here)).

Our plans were to retire in summer 2020 and see the world, but Coronavirus has lead us into a lot of lockdown programming in Python 3 and PHP 7.
We can now offer tailored online training - small groups, real tutors - works really well for groups of 4 to 14 delegates. Anywhere in the world; course language English.

Please ask about private 'maintenance' training for Python 2, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, etc.
2011 Census results - initial figures for Wiltshire.

The first results from the 2011 census have been released ... showing various population statistics over wide geographic areas. [download site].

The population of England rose from 49,138,831 in the 2010 census to 53,012,500 in 2011 - that's a rise of 7.9% (permanent residents of all ages). The population of Wiltshire rose from 613,024 to 680,200 (that's 10.96%). The rise in Swindon was 180,061 to 209,200 (16.18%), with the rest of Wiltshire rising from 432,963 to 471,000 (8.79%).

Since Wiltshire is now a unitary authority (without districts councils), there's no further detail yet as to growth within specific areas of Wiltshire - that's a great pity for people taking a strategic look ahead. Town by town data will be released in due course, though.

Overall, growth in Wiltshire is significantly higher than average growth across the UK (so there are some places that are growing much less), and I would expect when the more detailed figures come out to show a bias within Wiltshire to growth of the more urban areas such as Chippenham, Melksham and Trowbridge. For the moment, that is well educated speculation - a.k.a. a "pretty certain bet".
