For 2021 - online Python 3 training - see ((here)).

Our plans were to retire in summer 2020 and see the world, but Coronavirus has lead us into a lot of lockdown programming in Python 3 and PHP 7.
We can now offer tailored online training - small groups, real tutors - works really well for groups of 4 to 14 delegates. Anywhere in the world; course language English.

Please ask about private 'maintenance' training for Python 2, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, etc.
Basham Festival, Melksham, early August 2012 - a welcome

If you're coming to the Basham Festival, we look forward to welcoming you to the Melksham area. This is a festival that's going to be a weekend of great fun, and with all profits going to the wonderful Dorothy House local charity. I had quite a long and interesting chat with the festival curator (Heidi Roxton) on the phone the other day, and I'm "blogging" here to help in my own tiny way to chivvy interest along. Do click on the "Basham Festival" link above to find out more.

The festival is a camping one - but some of the more mature visitors may not want to spend the night under canvas. Well House Manor - our hotel in Melksham - has good availability that weekend. Can't offer any discounts, I'm afraid ... but we will donate £23.00 per double room / £13.00 per single room per night for all stays that include the Saturday night to Dorothy House, c/o the festival.

P.S. - Driving info for visitors to the festival: Manor Farm is about 10 miles south of the M4 motorway. Leave the M4 at junction 17 (Chippenham) and follow the A350 around the Chippenham bypass to Melksham. When you get to Melksham, take the A3102 Calne Road and you'll find Manor Farm and the Basham Festival about a mile and a half outside the town. If you're arriving early, you'll be welcome to look around Melksham - an old town mentioned in the Domesday book and with plenty of history - and to call in at the shops and cafes to buy your final supplies for the weekend.
