For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
What is the picture?

Here's a picture that I took yesterday evening ... I stopped and looked over a hedge and in place of fields that had previously been there ...

... a further view, and perhaps a more generous clue

This is the new marina under construction at Foxhangers, with moorings for up to 250 boats. Once water is allowed in, those standing structures will be pontoons and I'm sure that the operators are hopeful that the place will be filled with narrow boats. Although the Kennet and Avon Canal already seems to have lots of boats on it, you'll see when walking that the locks are only in use for a tiny fraction of the time, so this increased population can be sorted.

And I expect we may get some guests coming to stay at Well House Manor before going to Foxhangers to view a boat for sale, or before joining a group for a canal cruise.
