Another busy Week at Well House Manor ... pictures from the midweek
Most businesses are seasonal, and have a peak time of day and peak day of the week too when they're rushed too, with other times of the day or week being much quieter.
With the school holidays now started, you might expect that we would have gaps in our training program, and that people would be away and we would be slower with business hotel bookings, and with local meetings. But it seems you might expect wrong. We are not at the stage of being so busy that we're turning lots of business away; we have places available on all upcoming courses (limited on the
C and C++ courses that run from 8th August), and we have hotel rooms available for most nights in August, but we've certainly not gone quiet. And we had a couple of large groups in midweek too, over and above the course and business accommodation core of the business. Looking ahead, we're full on Saturday night and that's going to be leisure rather than business guests. But we do have availability at the hotel (
[here]) for six out of the next eight weekends.

Some of the delegates on the
Perl for Larger Projects course that started on Wednesday

Cream teas for 38. I briefly spoke with everyone ... and we had 38 happy visitors.
We're open for Coffees, teas and light snacks from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily ... but please let up know if you'll be coming in a group of 12 or more, as this party did.

The "Wilts" on Wednesday morning after a private meeting of around 40 people. It's all about people and I would love to show you their pictures, but as hoteliers we're the ultimate in discression and only publish pictures of customers where we have their permission.

On a fine day, you can sit and eat on the patio and in the garden too. It's very pleasant indeed (and there are excellent strawberries this year), and you can rest assured that we have plenty of covered accommodation too if the weather turns a bit rough on the day.
