There Summer Sunday trains offer people from Swindon, Chippenham and Melksham the chance of a dayout in Weymouth by train - the first time in many years that there has been a direct through train - arriving in Weymouth at 10:42 and leaving for the return trip at 17:56. And the return fare is just 15.60 for an adult.

It also offers the opportunity of Sunday trips to London (and Oxford, and Didcot, and Swindon) from Westbury, Trowbridge and Melksham (departure times from 07:30 to 07:45) ... and many other possibilities too. (I'm currently looking at a trip to the river Thames at Marlow on 21st August ...)
