Stirling's a beautiful city abouty halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh - famous for William Wallace, the battle of Stirling Bridge, Robert the Bruce, the battle of Bannockburn, and more.

Tha castle, set high on the hill, is open to tourists together with a great number of other attractions such as the town jail, and there's a vibrant (if a little standard) shopping centre too.
