On Saturday, 10th December the Melksham Railway Development Group arranged for Santa Claus to ride on the train from Melksham to Swindon and Return. Santa being Santa, of course, he brought some presents along for all the children ... and he was so busy chatting with everyone that he ran out of time. Trains can't wait for anyone, of course (not even Santa), so he quickly re-arranged his plans and got off at Melksham and got a lift to pick up his sleigh later at Westbury
