Mells, Somerset
Mells - set near the Somerset coalfield between Frome and Radstock - was the village that originated the nursery rhyme "Little Jack Horner"

The village quietly celebrates him in this monument, in contrast to the far greater attention given to the story of Jack and Jill in nearly Kilmersdon.
